Q: When do the bids close?
A: To keep this consistent and not to leave anyone doubting, all salvage bids will close at 11 PM Pacific Time on the closing day for that particular auction.

Q: Can I submit salvage on weekends and holidays?
A: Salvage can be submitted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Technical support is only available during regular business hours. Salvage submitted after business hours on Friday will be posted by noon on the next business day. Salvage submitted on Saturday or Sunday will not be posted till the next business day during business hours.

Q: Where can I inspect the salvage?
A: Information about the salvage is listed on the salvage survey sheet. The location of the salvage may or may not be listed. If there is no contact name or location for the seller, contact Truck Salvage Connection and we will attempt to obtain the information for you. We will also find out if the item can be physically inspected.

Q: How much did the salvage sell for?
A: The high bid is posted on the web site for thirty days after the auction has closed. Please follow the Closed Auctions link to view this information.

Q: Is there a rating system for buyers and sellers?
A: No, however we will accept complaints and review them for possible disciplinary action. The severity and or number of complaints may result in our revoking your right to buy or sell on TruckSalvageConnecion.com.

Q: Can I change or delete my bid.
A: Our system will allow you to bid as many times as you like. The highest bid you place will be considered your official bid. If you feel you may have made an error please contact the auction administrator.

Q: Will changing or deleting my bid affect my buyer's status?
A: Yes it will be noted with your account that you have taken such an action. If this occurs on a regular basis, disciplinary action may result.

Q: Do I have a right to contest any complaint?
A: It will be up to the discretion of TruckSalvageConnecion.com to determine if the complaint is justified and needs to be investigated. Should we agree to investigate any complaint, yes you will be able to contest the complaint.

Q: How will I know if I have won the salvage?
A: You will be notified immediately after the auction closes, via email, that you are the highest bidder. Please keep in mind that the owner has the right to retain the salvage. TSC will notify you immediately if we receive instructions from the seller to award the salvage to you. Remember, TSC does not award the salvage.

Q: What happens if there is a buyer/seller conflict?
A: Buyer and seller conflicts must be resolved between the buyer and seller.
It is the responsibility of both parties to contact each other to resolve these matters.
Truck Salvage Connection will offer limited mediation support.

Q: What if I do not honor my bid?
A: Buyers who do not honor his/her bids may have their bidding privileges revoked. In the event that a buyer does not honor his/her bid, Truck Salvage Connection will review the circumstances and make a decision on the appropriate action.

Q: The seller misrepresented the salvage, what do I do?
A: If a piece of salvage has been grossly misrepresented, the salvage buyer has the right to reject the salvage or re-negotiate his/her bid with the seller.
It is the seller's responsibility to make sure all information has been correctly listed on the salvage survey sheet. Failure to list any damages and additional parts may result in the buyer not being responsible for their bid. It is the buyer's responsibility to report any missing parts or title discrepancies immediately to the seller and Truck Salvage Connection, Inc.

A: We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We use your information only as related to the day to day business at Truck Salvage Connection. We view protection of users' privacy as a very important community principle. We store and process your information on computers located in the United States that are protected by physical as well as technological security devices. You can access and modify the information you provide us. If you object to your information being transferred or used in this way please do not use our services.
